Early childhood education customer fees and the value of the service voucher are checked annually for all customers in Hollola at the beginning of the new operating period.

If the information is not submitted by the due date, a decision will be made based on the highest payment. The payment will not be adjusted retroactively, but from the beginning of the month following the submission of the income information.

Options for how to submit income or accept the highest payment

  • Electronically: In the caregivers' Edlevo from June 1, 2026 or Web services until May 31, 2026.

  • By delivering the attachments in a sealed envelope to the mailbox on the right side of the front door of the Hollola Main Library (Hollola Municipality). Mark the envelope: Early Childhood Services
  • By mailing the attachments to the following address: Municipality of Hollola / Early Childhood Education, P.O. Box 66, 15871 Hollola

Note! Income information cannot be returned to the daycare center/family day care provider

The Act on Early Childhood Education Client Fees defines the income that is taken into account when determining the fee. Below are examples of how to calculate income.

  • Wage earner (income from main job/side job)
    • The latest pay slip showing income from the last pay period and salary accrual for the current year
  • Entrepreneur (Private business or professional, general partnership, limited partnership)
    • Decision on start-up money / business support (if the entrepreneur receives one)
    • Latest confirmed tax decision
    • Income statement and balance sheet for the last full financial year, with itemized costs
    • Advance tax certificate for the current year
    • Interim financial statements (if available)
    • Limited company: Payroll and dividend statement issued by the accountant (Oy)
  • Unemployed
    • Unemployment compensation decision
  • Student
    • Certificate of study showing the start and end dates of studies
  • Capital income (rental income, forestry income or other capital income)
    • Last confirmed tax decision
      • Forest income: a tax decision containing information on the location of the forest property and the number of hectares defined as forest land
  • Maternity or parental allowance
    • Decision on maternity allowance / parental allowance / flexible or partial care allowance
  • Other benefits (pension, sickness allowance, maintenance allowance (only for a child in care), other benefits)
    • Benefit payer's decision
  • Deductibles from family income (e.g. alimony payments, child support)
    • Decision and payment receipt
  • Other recurring income
    • Proof of income
  • *Income register: Some of the family's income information can be checked from the National Incomes Register if the family has given their consent. However, families must separately report other income information that is not available from the Incomes Register, such as rental and dividend income or income from entrepreneurial activities. If the family does not report information in connection with the check, the highest fee will be charged.
