The municipality of Hollola is participating in the Siskot ja Simot ry's Christmas Post for the Elderly campaign, which collects Christmas cards for customers of home care and housing services, for example. The cards will be collected between November 3 and December 4, 2025. You can find red collection boxes at the following locations:
1. From the lobby of Hollola Main Library. Nuottikuja 2 15870 Hollola.
2. Hämeenkoski Library's newspaper reading room. Asikkalantie 1, 16800 Hämeenkoski.
3. Near the service desk of the Kalliola Library. Rajaharjuntie 23, 15270 Kukkila.
So do this:
1. Make your own Christmas card and make sure that the parts attached to the card stay attached. You don't have to put the card in an envelope, but if you do, please don't close the envelope. You can write You as the recipient. Please also write your own name on the card, for example Merry Christmas! Wishes Martti.
2. Deliver the card to the collection box during the campaign period November 3-December 4, 2025.
Please advise the senior instructor of places and destinations where the cards would be particularly appreciated. You can also sign up to help sort and distribute the cards if you wish.
